I think with the way people make things now, if I were to work with an idea of "What if Chris Farley was in a Godard movie?" (which I did), it would need to be realized with a literal, razor-thin approach, like making an AI video of Farley as Lemmy Caution. Now that I've said that aloud, someone is surely already at work on that AI prompt.
Paintings like this are how those ideas came together for me.
