This painting was the image used on the invitation for It's a Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl, and was sold from that show in Los Angeles. The title of the show is from a song by the German band Faust.
I think most of us who went to art school in the 90s were encouraged to use any media as our own. If you want to sue me for this I made $300.
I stopped doing this kind of work around 2009-10. It evolved stylistically to being indistinguishable from a Youtube screenshot in reproduction, even if it was a large object.
